Painted alongside Roisin, Celestine was inspired by the onset of Spring and all the tiny flashes of colour appearning everywhere as the tiny Spring flowers emerged.

A bit of Celestine trivia.. Celestine's proved popular for exhibition flyers, even making the cover image for the Waterside Arts Centre's Summer brochure! I had a solo show at the Waterside and was really pleased that they used Celestine as the cover image. In September 2010 Celestine was also featured as part of a two page spread in magazine the Stylist, (they had a pink theme for Breast Cancer awareness). She was spotted by a couple of people who kindly offered to post me their copies of the magazine.
